GRU Outlet: Intelligencer

An interesting little Russian intel tentacle ...

A day or so ago I mentioned that a GRU connected media outlet was about to get illuminated, and while the article doesn’t come right out and say it, the trail to GRU seems pretty clear.

This was very interesting to me, because it includes two people I’ve had interactions with, and there’s a deeper level to be seen, one it’s integrated into the MAGA Meltdown graph.

Having had interactions with some of these people, I have strong opinions, and they’re not positive. That’ll likely turn up in the overall tone.

And the update to the graph after reading this article is … dense. But this is good, we know a lot more than we did yesterday.

That’s well nigh unreadable for anyone without a 4k display. Let’s go through the various people that we had background on prior to this article.

Trevor Fitzgibbon:

Here’s Trevor, back in 2020. There was some sexual harassment thing, if I recall correctly, but I knew nothing about it, and I don’t think I knew who he was before he initiated this Twitter DM conversation.

Now that he’s identified in this article as a likely Russian agent, and his former attorney has been taken off the playing field with a ruinous brain injury, I can’t cause myself any trouble showing this.

I just recently learned the material Biss mentions here originated with Arturo Tafoya, see Faking One’s Death, and one of the things I did this month was excise that content from everything I’ve published. I pulled out the portion of the MAGA Meltdown graph that depended on that info before I started cleaning up, and as you can see from the subgraph it was a bit of a task

And this is what we know about Trevor, limited to sources with proper editorial discipline.

Lee Stranahan:

There’s a lot in my Lee Stranahan folder I can’t share with you guys. Despite the fact that the hardcore pornography from the time when he was pimping his wife out at $650 for in home erotic photoshoots is something HE made public, I don’t want to run afoul of California statute 647(J)(4).

So there you have it. And I imagine after four absolute thrashings of his associates in court that Lee won’t find counsel willing to run the gauntlet of California’s brutal anti-SLAPP statutes.

Here’s the non-salacious part of the graph that matters. Lee ran interference for Julian Assange/Roger Stone after the 2016 election.

We know that Julian Assange Pleads Guilty To Conspriacy.

And there’s no such thing as a conspiracy of one … and I like where FBI source Charles Johnson sits in the scheme of things.

Big Picture:

Once I integrated this into the overall graph, in particular the part about the Serbian ties … wow … my urge to dig is REALLY strong. SPECULATION: if Simona Mangiante can get an interview with Andriy Derkach, she can pitch for funding for an entity like Intelligencer. If Ron Johnson and Richard Grenell turn up at the same event … you can see why my urge to dig is activated.

Conclusion:

So we know some things here, stuff that an editor approved. We know more because we have this hydra of a Maltego graph. If someone is willing to go just a little bit further, we might get into doing some of the FBI’s counter-intel duties for them.

I do not have a fat green line denoting a cash flow from Andriy Derkach to George Eliason on that graph … yet. But I’m gonna toss this slab of red meat to the Canine Intelligence Agency, and we’ll see what those goodest boys and girls of NAFO can find.
