Charlie Kirk Shot

Utah shooting with Kirk as primary target.

(UPDATE 1420 PST: The shot in the video I received sounded like a suppressed pistol. Sources are saying it was a rifle 200m away. This looks like a shooter with a gun zeroed for relatively short range aimed at Kirk’s ear, not accounting for the drop at that distance. An older white man was quickly arrested, but now sources are saying this was not the shooter. Multiple sources are reporting that Kirk died.)

This just happened less than half an hour ago.

Charlie Kirk was shot in the vicinity of his neck while manning his “Prove Me Wrong” table at a Utah university. The Guardian livestream is full of updates about this. Reports say the shooter is in custody and there is no word on Kirk’s condition.

This is immediately interesting to me for two reasons:

• There are photos of the subject of Red Sparrow Reality in the company of Kirk and one other notable right wing figure from the U.S.

• Six Republican Factions outlines the groups that will be involved in the successions struggle that will follow Donald Trump’s death.

Right on top of Russia Attacks Poland, gotta say I do NOT like this vibe, not one bit.

This was not how I planned on spending the rest of 2025, but you can’t have a civil war without bloodshed. This may come to be seen as a turning point in that process.
