Canada, weary and worried over America’s erratic trade behavior, have made accommodations with China.
This comes hot on the heels of Canada joining the European Union’s defense procurement program.
The foolish posturing about Canada becoming the 51st U.S. state was a nonstarter when Trump first voiced it a year ago and now the harm is done - harm that I will not live to see resolved, harm that my Zoomer children will still be contemplating when they are my age.
I’ve been saying this in chat for a couple years now, it bears repeating here:
