SchoolHouse Rock aired from 1973 to 1985. Every single member of Gen-X can sing this from heart and I’d expect the same of any Boomers that had Gen-X children.
Now look at this sniveling little closet case Dominionist.
While you’re here, you should read about Benedict Arnold’s role in our Revolutionary War.
In December 1780, Arnold led a force of 1,600 troops into Virginia under orders from Clinton, where he captured Richmond by surprise and then went on a rampage through the colony, destroying supply houses, foundries, and mills.
He led a force of more than 1,700 men, which burned most of New London to the ground on September 4, causing damage estimated at $500,000.[114] They also attacked and captured Fort Griswold across the river in Groton, slaughtering the Americans after they surrendered following the Battle of Groton Heights
Does any of this sound at all familiar to you? Attacks on Chicago and Portland? People being snatched at random off the streets of many American cities?
George Washington knew precisely what to do about Arnold … and afterward the British accorded him only slightly more respect for his failures, brutality, and escape from American justice.
The pursuing American army included the Marquis de Lafayette, who was under orders from Washington to hang Arnold summarily if he was captured.
Arnold commanded the army only until May 20, when Lieutenant General Charles Cornwallis arrived with the southern army and took over.
Cornwallis ignored Arnold’s advice to locate a permanent base away from the coast, advice that might have averted his surrender at Yorktown.
I might be compelled to hide under a rock while you kids are deciding what sort of a country the third republic will be, or if we’re going to even have a third republic, but when my time is over, I hope my ancestors will welcome me. My family arrived here a quarter century before the Revolutionary War, and history does not record what role they might have played in freeing us, the first traces are one Iowa Union trooper who survived the Civil War. I labored long and hard to keep this country a place for all of us, and perhaps we’ve finally reached a point where We, The People have had enough of corruption and its theocratic handmaiden.
