The ground never rests in Japan; four quakes a day is the average. Why are people changing travel plans over a quake prediction in a manga?

Because the author of this manga predicted the year and month of the Fukushima quake … eleven years in advance.

Nankai Megathrust Quakes absolutely are a thing, returning on a 90 to 200 year cycle. The last was in 1946, so if this does happen it’s a quick return. There’s NO science behind this, just one eerie coincidence. I’m posting this so we can track what the summer of 2025 actually brings.
