Jake Tapper, a journalist-like creature who is flogging a smear book about Joe Biden, is doing so as part of what is a readily apparent “inoculation operation”. Like all of the projection we see from the right on LGBT issues, or any other hot button, this is done so that when Trump’s inevitable crash occurs the media can maintain the appearance of balance.

If you want things to get better, you don’t criticize the action in a situation like this, you go right after the bad faith actor, all of the enablers, then stay on it until they are gone.
