(Final Update 2025-02-16-1732 I’m halfway through the Paxlovid, this strain of COVID19 seems kinda puny, I’m saving the other five blister packs for the next time. March rent is covered. The new to me iPhone 12 Mini is great, took a break from putting a new SIM in the old phone, we’ll see tomorrow if I can legit get hired by this new alleged source of Peruvian pesos. Gonna leave this up for a week or so, till all the irregular visitors have seen the news.

(Update 2025-02-11-0413 I have managed to get a prescription for Paxlovid issued. A couple close associates sent small amounts of money.

2025-02-11-1207 I tried to pay my health insurance bill, but coverage here has changed, and my bill went from $250/month to $1,250/month. Utterly out of reach.)

2025-02-11-1313 The long, storm arm of the internet reached out and fixed my biggest concern of the moment. Still under the gun, but I’m not gonna die quite yet.

Last October in Cardiapocalypse Averted I had some post Lyme heart stuff, some post COVID19 stuff, and the long term orthopedic stuff on my right side now affects my left as well, mimicking heart attack symptoms. My insurance was suspended, so yay $5,400 emergency room bill. I got a booster shot right after that and it magically cleared a lot of the COVID19 STUFF.

December was long, a foreshadowing of things to come. January was brutal, lots and lots of time cleaning up someone else’s mess, roughly 160 hours in the last ten days of the month. Things slowed down a bit in February and this morning at 6:21AM, praise $DEITY, the last intrusion victim reported things being back to work.

And then I laid there for a good long while, hoping it was just this season’s non-lethal flu. This is my third positive COVID19 test in ten months.

I have receivables this month, but just enough for March rent at this point. My stash of Peruvian pesos has dwindled to less than my health insurance payment for January and that December drag has meant my doctor remains unpaid.

I had Paxlovid on hand for my prior two encounters. I do NOT have it today and unless I get an assist I will not be able to get it in a timely fashion. I don’t put up the Cat Signal unless things are truly dire. If I have to deal with COVID19 without Paxlovid, it could very well be the end of me …
