Freedom For Myanmar's Cyberslaves

A spot of good news in a grim world.

I first became aware of Myanmar’s Cyberslaves eleven months ago. It’s good to see hundreds of them being freed in a crackdown by Thailand. This report shows 250 people being transported by the Thai army. This one showed up this morning against a general backdrop of bad behavior online finally getting some much needed attention.

They’re no doubt relieved to be free, hope they can all put aside the trauma and get on with their lives.
