Someone dressed as a police officer turning up at the homes of Democratic legislators in suburban Minneapolis/St. Paul and shooting them and their spouses is precisely the sort of thing we should expect.

No blue/gray uniforms, no cavalry squadrons, no muzzle loading cannons … this is what a day in a modern civil war looks like. Single incidents that could have other explanations, but they’ll keep piling up until even the most oblivious among us has to admit that something systemic is happening …

The suspect was dressed like a uniformed officer and operating a vehicle that “looked exactly like an SUV squad car. It was equipped with lights, emergency lights and looked exactly like a police vehicle,” Bruley said.
