Sudan Is Disintegrating, just to the south of Egypt, and there aren’t single words in English to describe the dread I feel looking at these reports.
Walking from Sudan to Egypt isn’t really a thing, there’s not a lot of “inhabitable” between their population centers, and the Nile is firmly in the hands of the respective governments. So there isn’t going to be a domino effect, at least not to the north.
